This email is a follow-up to the official announcement posted on our website regarding our annual Arizona RID Business Meeting. It will be held on FRIDAY, May 17 at 4 p.m. at Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Board Room.

And, in closing, a few reminders!

-Your participation in the business meeting vital! We must meet quorum to elect new board members and approve the next fiscal year budget!! Come join us, network with fellow interpreters, and stay involved in local interpreting issues!

-There is still time to make a nomination for Vice President, Treasurer, and Member-at-Large! Get in your nominations for Arizona RID members who you think would be great leaders by this FRIDAY, APRIL 26 at 7 p.m. to Shari Burda, Nominations Committee Chair (

-Your Arizona RID Membership is expiring soon! Regardless of when you became a member, ALL memberships expire at the end of the fiscal year! You can renew now online! Your membership allows you to vote on local issues during Arizona RID meetings; also, being an Arizona RID AND national RID member allows you to vote on national issues! Additionally, it goes toward coordinating amazing workshops Arizona, developing programs such as our recently implemented MENTORSHIP program, and granting CEUs for independent studies, etc. None of these would be possible without the support of our membership! Spread the word!
