Interpreters who work in the legal arena are faced with ethical dilemmas that put them at odds with their status in the Deaf communities, their obligations as an RID member, and their role as an officer of the Court. Throughout this workshop, participants will discuss how these various identities affect the work of interpreters and discuss best practices for addressing them.

Note: This workshop will be presented in ASL; spoken English interpretation will not be provided. Due to the discussion based instructional approach, live streaming will not be available for this event.

Presenter: Dr. Jeremy Brunson, PhD, CI/CT, SC:L

The workshop will be located in Room AG19
