Development of Personal Computers Since 1974 by Laury Plate, Jr.

Computers!!!! VCD’s first Executive Director and computer expert/builder, Laury Plate, Jr. will take us through his 40-year history of building computers for his home use. Visuals? Yes. He still calls people from the large home workshop where he built them all. They are still there! We will see the old computers of many parts. And experience some of the frustration of a Deaf man with Ushers Syndrome as he teaches us in ASL by Video Phone.
